1. Tata Punch EV 

Tata Motors officially introduced the Punch EV to the public on January 17, 2024, starting at Rs 11 lakh , ex-showroom. The Punch EV is Tata’s second-generation EV architecture based on the ALFA platform. Tata’s small electric SUV is dubbed an affordable offering, and it comes in medium- and long-range battery options. The long-range battery pack allows for up to 421 km per charge, while the mid-range – 315 km on a single charge.

2. BYD Seal EV 

Chinese electric vehicle EV manufacturer BYD launched the Seal EV in India on March 6, 2024, with prices starting from Rs 41 lakh and goes up to Rs 53 lakh, ex-showroom. BYD Seal EV is available in single-motor and dual-motor configurations and has three types of battery pack. It can go up to 180 kmph and can reach a speed of 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. It has a range of 510 km to 650 km.
